:: Projects
- Se.Co.: Search Computing (Seco) is a project submitted to the "IDEAS Advanced Grants" and selected for funding by the European Research Council (ERC). The starting date of the project is November 1st, 2008.
- Pharos: (EU, 6th Framework): PHAROS (Platform for searcHing of Audiovisual Resources across Online Spaces) is an Integrated Project co-financed by the European Union under the Information Society Technologies Programme (6th Framework Programme) – Strategic Objective ‘Search Engines for Audiovisual Content’ (2.6.3). The PHAROS mission is to advance audiovisual search from a point-solution search engine paradigm to an integrated search platform paradigm. This platform will be built on an innovative, open, and distributed architecture that enables consumers, businesses and organisations to unlock the values found in audiovisual content.
- EsaMyHMI: (Italian Ministry of Industry) project: ESA is one of the leading European producer of HMI devices. Recently HMI market requrements started to shift towards the evolution lines of digital convergence. The aim of the project is to design cutting-edge HMI devices based on emerging Web technologies.
- MetalC: the second version of the MetalC manufacturing suite, which provides Italian manufacturing companies with a set of Web-based platforms to share on-line documents, integrate heterogeneous information systems through Web Services, and exchange commercial documents. The second release of the suite aims at improving the ease of use and responsiveness of interfaces using innovative rich client applications.
